TORONTO, November 5, 2021 – Canada Jetlines and Global Crossing Airlines Inc., have today announced a partnership on the sale of flights between Toronto and Florida. The newly established Jetlines, aims to provide convenient air travel options offering more value and travel choices than competitors to coveted sun-destinations.

Canada Jetlines Vacations will jointly market and sell seats on GlobalX Air Tours public charter flights, over an eight-week period. Round trip charter flights will operate from Toronto to Miami once per week and to Fort Lauderdale three times weekly, starting February 2, 2022.

Flights will operate via GlobalX Airbus A320 and Canada Jetlines will independently service the routes with its own aircraft with the completion of all necessary certification and necessary approvals.

“We are grateful to continue solidifying our partnership with GlobalX. The access to their comprehensive resources allow us limitless growth opportunities and flexible options that many competitors don’t have,” shared Eddy Doyle, CEO and President of Canada Jetlines. “Timing is everything and this is the best opportunity to start an airline in over 20 years. Following decades of limited flying options, travelers are looking to venture out again with a sense of ease. Canada Jetlines is able to provide a new level of travel transparency and convenience at post-COVID rates.”

“This partnership is exactly what we envisioned when we spun off Canada jetlines- creating Canada’s new value charter airline,” said Ed Wegel, Chair and CEO of GlobalX. The alliance between the two airlines allows us to fly for each other to open new charter routes, provide additional capacity at certain peak periods for each airline and to maximize the benefits of the two networks. We look forward to flying these charter routes for our partner as the first step in expanding our alliance.”
